May, 2016: Grade eights please have your introduction paragraphs written for farewell today. Introductions should be memorized by Thursday, April 28th, 2016. Assigned Monday, April 18th, 2016.
Monday, May 2nd- Thursday, May 26th, 2016: Social Studies: Team #1-Monday, May 2nd. Team #2: Monday, May 9th, 2016. Team #3: Monday, May 16th, 2016. Team #4: Thursday, May 26th, 2016. Current Events Outline: On Day 4, one team of students will make a 1-3 minute presentation on a current event of their choice. Each student on that team will choose from the following categories: Entertainment, Weather, National, Local, International , Sports, and Provincial. Information can be found in newspapers, magazines, the internet, radio, and television, as long as it is current. The students must summarize the information by putting it into their own words. A good copy must be typed and handed in after the presentation. Make sure to follow the outline provided.
